Nice guy, looking for friends, dating, maybe more.

Professional here. During my career, I was a computer geek (wrote computer programs). Currently, I'm mostly retired from that and am doing some volunteer work (adult literacy tutoring).

Obviously, it would be great to meet Mr. Right and live happily ever after. But I'm realistic enough to know that you won't take one look at me and fall instantly in love (and the reverse might even be true :-) ). So I'd like to start out by getting to know each other, date a little, and become friends. If we click and we're both up for it, then we can move on to "friends with benefits". If a long term relationship develops, so much the better.
