I should begin this profile by stating that I am happily partnered with a wonderful little guy that I met about 10 years ago on this site, and that I am not looking for any kind of relationship. I just enjoy the sights of this candy shop, and never tire of window shopping. That said, I'm surprised to discover myself at this stage of life. After all, I'm just a kid. Sometimes I'm not really sure how I got to where I am, but I truly enjoy retirement. I highly recommend it.

I am financially secure, but absolutely, no sugar daddy. Even though I have found my life partner and am now married to him, I enjoy communication and friendship with men my age or slightly older; men who are well-kept and have made good health a priority in their lives. The most attractive characteristic of any man is his intellect, and I truly respect a liberal arts education.

I am spiritually minded, but the older I get, the more anti-religious I find myself becoming. Magical thinking is ignorant. Biblical literalists are the contemporary Pharisees (and we all know how fond Jesus was of them.) In short, bigots bore me.

I am addicted to laughter, sarcastic of wit, prone to dislike of all things "right-wing." I'm sorry, but life's just too short to waste arguing with fear-mongering bigots. Those I love know it. I am an incurable romantic, and when I love, there are no limits.

I enjoy just about any activity. Although I'm starting to feel my age a bit, I have always been somewhat athletic, and enjoy all sports, both as a spectator and as a participant. The older I get ... the better I was ...

Musically, I enjoy classical foremost and even plink around on the piano and guitar; but classic rock cranks me up. I'm a child of the 70's after all. I enjoy listening to a guitar "god" as much as I enjoy listening to a violin "god." The only difference is an electron here and there. Both skills are magical.

Good food is a special weakness. I enjoy cooking with my loved one as well as dining out now that Covid is behind us. I've seen the inside of a kitchen or two, and would no doubt benefit from pushing away from the table a bit sooner ... The only thing I have in common with Bret Kavenaugh is "I like beer." I just don't use it to take advantage of innocent people.
