We are a gay couple, 68 & 59 years old, we have been together for 30 years and since they brought the new law of 'civil partnership' at the end of 2005, we ended up tying the knot in January 2006, and as happy today as we have always been.

In January 2022 we went to a local registry office and exchanged our civil partnership certificate and 'upgraded' to marriage certificate, we are now officially married :-)
