Bit of an update Feb 2023.

Still spend much of the year here in Maine but enjoying those more frequent getaways more and more. Great cruise and stay in Ft Lauderdale recently and counting the days till the next one this coming fall. And will be headed south with my camper for a month plus in Florida soon. And yup, still looking for that man of my dreams. Although getting the feeling these days he's found someone else. LOL But hey, try not to give up hope. Also updated my photos a bit as things were getting outdated. Some of the pics were taken on recent cruise and in Florida.



Looking for a serious relationship and someone
who would enjoy sharing my passion for the outdoors, quiet times together, or those wonderful early mornings in bed when we just lie there in each other's arms talking about life. Found thru an all too short relationship that's where I belong.

Decent, honest, masculine, down to earth guy here. 20 year military man, although that's a bit in my past now. Passion for the outdoors, especially living here in the beautiful State of Maine. Have a quiet and peaceful spot in the woods and would like nothing more than someone to share it with. Only a short hop from the surprisingly cosmopolitan little city of Bangor. And even better, an hour away from incredible Acadia National Park and the North Atlantic. Hike and XC ski from my backdoor, but often head to Acadia or favorite spots in the beautiful mountains of Maine. And what better way to end a hike or the day with a skinny dip in a tranquil stream or a sparkling mountain pond. Then a quiet dinner in one of my favorite spots on the way back home.


Enjoy travel and get away when I can. Montreal with friends 2-3 times each year, my always enjoyable week in Provincetown each summer, and getting to enjoy those winter getaways to sunny Florida more each year. Even got in a couple weeks of sun and hiking in beautiful Tucson. Wow. Hope to make that a months long situation in the not too distant future. Ideally would love to find a guy with a place in Florida to spend winters, then have him share in the beautiful summer and fall months here in Maine. Just a dream and a thought, but who knows when I might find "Mr Right" down there in the deep south that's looking for the same.

And did I mention big animal lover here? I've had dogs in the past, love them to death, but find they just tie me down too much at this point in life. But maybe again sometime in the future. I share my home with 2 beautiful felines and find they make the perfect pets/companions. They love having "daddy" home, but have no problems when I leave. That is as long as I always come home.

And the man I'm looking for? Well, guess I've learned that there's no such thing as "Mr Perfect." Afraid we've all got our flaws and irregularities. So why not enjoy the differences and let them enhance a relationship rather than tear it apart. I've learned that age is just a number and that wonderful guys come in all stages of life. But would really enjoy someone that has the time and ability to share in life a bit more these days, not one or the other of us sitting at home waiting for hubby to arrive from work. But with that said, have no desire or intent of supporting someone else, or them me. And as much as I'd like to find the right guy right here in the neighborhood, I'm not naive enough to think that's a real likelihood. Not really in a position to move at the moment, but that can always change. And I'd be more than receptive to the possibility of someone moving here.
