I'm a caring, loving, empathetic, shy, sensitive, simple, masculine, unassuming guy. I have a great sense of humor and it doesn't take much to make me happy. I enjoy art, natural history, aviation, automotive, science museums and botanical gardens. I like most genres of music from classical to soft rock. I have always had an intense love of nature and animals and learning as much as I can. I love hiking or I could just sit all day in the forest and/or by a lake listening to the tranquil sounds of nature. One of the most wonderful things, to me, is the sound the wind makes as it flows through the tops of the pines. I have dealt with anxiety and depression in my life, so the solace and comfort that the wonder and beauty of nature gives me means so very much. I remember, when I was young, Yosemite valley's massive granite walls were like a natural cathedral where I felt safe and at peace and it shielded me from the chaos of the outside world. Just the memory of it still does, now, more than ever.

All of my Grandparents immigrated from Italy so I was brought up with, and adhere to, old wold traditional Italian conservative values.
