Where do I begin? I am very relationship oriented. I have had a successful long-term relationship of 13 years until he passed away seven years ago. Before that I had two five-year relationships. It was dynamic, stable, and full of adventure both in and out of the bedroom. I am looking for the next chapter of my life with someone who shares those qualities. Also, worklife is very important, however, I need to know that my future partner knows that I/We come first. Availability is very important. I am well educated, a world traveler, healthy HIV positive undetectable, and have a zest for life! I am a former educator who is now retired, financially stable and own my own home that I am remodeling. I'm attracted to men who are self actualized, financially stable, interested in world events and travel. A sense of other and humor are very important to me. In the bedroom I tend to lean toward the bottom bunk. It really just depends on the chemistry. I like in person encounters until we find out what we have in common with each other and want to go further. A therapist once told me, "It's not how you meet someone, it is what you do after you meet them that counts." I knew I was in love with my husband when he said to me, "Life is not a dress rehearsal, this is your life!" I prefer not to date anyone who is into hard drugs or is a smoker! That would be a dealbreaker. If you smoke pot, that is somewhat acceptable, though I would prefer not to be around the smoke or any kind of smoke for that matter. Just a preference, but not a deal breaker. If alcohol and going out to bars to get drunk is a social activity and one of your interests then we would not be a good match. It would also be wonderful to meet someone who has family members that they actually like and get along with though I know that no family is without problems. I am open to meeting/dating someone near or far from where I live as I have flight benifits and therefore travel easily. I used to split my time between the SF Bay Area and Palm Springs but have recently moved to Palm Springs full time. Most importantly to me is the connection I have with someone so having a long distance relationship is not without its challenges but well worth it. When two people are in love nothing is impossible!
