I keep getting asked what I'm looking for online so I've decided to share my thoughts.
I relate being on a chat line to being at a bar or social event. At these events there are those I:
1. walk pass and don't give a second thought
2. admire the face or body but don't approach
3. smile at and nothing more
4. say hi and exchange pleasantries
5. have a short conversation that extinguishes from one or both sides
6. have a lengthy conversation that is fulfilling from some standpoint but ends
7. have a connection that last longer than the one meeting with plans made to continue in the future
