Profile text: Hello. Thanks for stopping by, and thanks in advance for reading through this profile. Maybe you've written something informative and honest about yourself and your interests on own your profile? I would love that.... I'm a mostly retired philosophy prof, looking especially for local friends guys between 25 and 40 or so. Academic types are especially appreciated, but not a necessity. I'm interested in dating -- getting to know the guys I interact with. Overall, I respond to guys who appreciate courtesy and honesty in their dealings with others, and who don't lose that capacity just because they feel horny. I do have a special weakness for guys who are handsome, masculine, in-shape (athletes a big plus) -- but I want to get to know you, and if we have no shared interests, then we're not going anywhere, regardless of the abs or thighs.... I'm looking for a guy who really wants a friendship that grows even without sex (though I hope it might lead there). Someone who is happy with taking things slow, and feeling the warmth turn to heat. I've had my fill of the other stuff. I like to emphasize the positives, but it might help to handle a few negatives as well. I'm not into quick hook-ups. I'm not into C2C. Also I'm not into role playing, especially of the "daddy" variety. I don't care about disembodied anatomical parts -- though bare chests are entirely acceptable! Sexually I tilt strongly toward vanilla rather than kinky. Full disclosure: I'm in an open marriage (to a younger man) which is non-sexual. But that should be no problem. It simply simply means that if we get to know each other well, then you might become a part of the family. ....
