I am an academic with extensive research experience overseas. I run marathons, swim, and do Pilates. I am a passionate opera fan and I enjoy reading fiction as well as non-fiction. I am looking for a man who is intellectually curious, physically active, and emotionally available.

I admit that I am not drawn to men who are very heavy. Not something I'm proud of but I can't overcome the feeling.

I still enjoy teaching and so have not retired. But I could do so at any time and would certainly consider spending much time elsewhere if it meant spending time with someone I cared deeply about, and who cared deeply for me.
