Young-looking, fit, educated, 74-year-old male seeking companion, preferably younger than me, for fun, conversation, affection, friends, dating, and long-term relationship. Something shorter-term or occasional might also be okay.

I enjoy light outdoor activities, such as hiking, bicycling, and day trips to interesting local places. I recently bought an electric bike, and have been like a kid again enjoying it.

I love classical music, especially classical guitar and piano. I played piano growing up. I enjoy attending concerts. I also enjoy some popular music, from the Big Band era through the 60s, 70s, and disco. I'm also an active folk dancer.

I love the desert -- the light, the solitude, the dryness, the spiritual qualities. I enjoy day hikes, bicycling, and traveling in the desert, and often visit the small desert-resort town of Borrego Springs, outside San Diego.

Until recently, I owned my own small business on the Internet (I just sold it), and in general, have an entrepreneurial outlook on life. That is, when I see a need or an opportunity, I tend to act on it instead of waiting for someone else to do it.

I volunteer with a social service agency giving rides to the elderly to doctor appointments, shopping, etc.

People often say I'm "serious". Perhaps they mean that I can be a bit nerdy. I enjoy reading and conversing about politics, spirituality, business and investing, and other "serious" topics. But those who stick around also know I can have a good sense of humor when I feel comfortable enough.

I'm a very good communicator.

I appreciate someone with a spiritual outlook on life (prayer and SRF meditation are important to me), though actively religious is not necessary. If you have (or have had) a career or other activity you're passionate about, I'd love to hear about it. You should be fit, active, and have youthful energy.

I love emotional connection and affection (kissing, hugging, sleeping together). While I'll do my best to satisfy my partner's sexual needs, my interest in sex is not great, and is definitely second to a strong emotional and affectionate connection.
