Profile text:I log in here more for old time's (and old friend's) sake and because I enjoy the pictures and profiles than for the ever more improbable sex dates. I must say that some profiles, specially of fit men in their 40s and 50s, do stir up the libido quite a bit but it's becoming much less pressing.
My 22 years younger partner and I have lived together for over 28 years and are very secure in our relationship with all that follows from that. We are careful with each other's feelings.
After retirement from medical practice I did a BA in ceramics. That and our garden are my main passions. After about 40 years I now have some help with the garden and my pottery making has slowed down but continues.
I've had HIV for well over 30 years. I've had undetectable VL for decades, so non-infectious. My partner is negative. Even travel insurance companies hardly bother about that now. I'm breathless on walking, with pulmonary fibrosis and wonky legs. Otherwise very well!
Sadly, we've sold my 1955 Studebaker Speedster proudly displayed in my gallery, perhaps my only really outrageous feature and also given away our sensible little Toyota, so we are without a car. In London it had become an expensive shopping trolly. We go to the theatre, concerts and galleries quite a lot.
In view of my age and the the cost of travel insurance, sadly I shall never visit the USA again. I still have a social security number from the first time that I immigrated in 1961! The first of uncountable visits was in 1954 on RMS Queen Mary with an A1 diplomatic visa.
