Before I write about me I need to point out age issues. If a much younger guy finds you and you really connect, good for both of you. If your preference age range in your profile is 15 to 40 years younger than you, you have serious age issues that dating a much younger guy can't fix.

I actually wasn't born free; however, I came out at the age of 19 in 1969 when it was virtually impossible for many people to be out. From that decision day to the present I have always had the ability to be myself no matter who's around or where I'm at.

I totally understand the heterosexual forces that require men to remain in the closet allowing their sexual orientation or preference known only to a few. It's completely understandable and I would never advise anyone to be out unless they had the skills to be able to deal with any potential confrontations or repercussions.

I was fortunate to have life experiences that gave me the abilities to withstand the pressures of heterosexual conformity.

I begin my profile with that just to give you an idea of why I think the way I do. I have had extensive sexual experiences and enjoy both two-way and one-way sexual encounters. I remained single all my life probably because of a dysfunctional childhood family situation.

I'm a very masculine guy and I am into health and fitness. That said, I can be turned on by a man's feminine and or masculine characteristics. I'm in touch with both sides of mine. Communication is key for me; both, in getting to know someone and during moments of intimacy.

It would be a big mistake for anyone to define me by my age number. Since receiving a Graduate Certificate in lifestyle medicine in 2017 I have made and continue to make lifestyle changes that keep me aging at my peak. I continue to work full-time, lead a very active sex life and many of my encounters are with much younger men. I'm not bragging and I would rather find men close to my own age. Unfortunately, most men, as they get older, let themselves go and could care less about their waist size or health. For me it's about quality of life, compatibility and shared experiences.
