Single man who can look back on 40 years of gay awareness, but still: I have always been bored with this male and gay opportunistic, hedonistic, inflationary approach to sexuality, exploiting their alledged right for what they confuse with 'liberty' to the absurd, talking about sex at every opportunity while simply meaning their satisfaction only.

Reading along in the chat rooms, I get the impression that people are no longer interested in each other, but in what others can do for them. The internet is a place with almost inexhaustible resources for global communication, exchange and encounters. Bummer that for most users these possibilities are limited to putting a picture of their cock or butt in their profile, hoping someone will take the bait and scratch their itch.

I consider myself as non-binary. Not because I have doubts about my sexual identity as a gay man, but because I reject any expectations of a traditional and therefore restrictive and toxic role behavior that we all learned and grew up with, but which still prevents us from being ourselves and not conforming to the expectations of others.

I can't relate to stereotyped thinking with oldfashioned, worn-out semantics and labels of 'top' and 'bottom' any more than I can to people who make their sexual identity and their enjoyment of sexuality obsessively dependent on the use of clothing, costumes, objects, drugs. If this is gay community in 21st century then I don't belong to it nor do I want to be part of something like that.

Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change. History and past, especially the recent past, teach me that most of us can not and do not want to keep up with this. A member of this platform recently told me that my profile reads very provocative. Well, I am responsible for what I say and write - not for what you interpret into it.

Why I'm here on SD? I lack of security, togetherness, tenderness, affection, of someone who cares and likes to be taken care of, at eye level. It may seem naive to look for that here in this place, controlled by base instincts, testosterone and pressure overload. Well, hope dies last.
