Hello:

Some of you have approached me, wondering whether you can communicate with me in person. Yes, I may be deaf, but I can speak, sign, lipread, text-message, write, and Skype/FaceTime (not looking for webcam sex, however), so communicating with me shouldn't be a problem. (I also wear a hearing aid.) ASL users welcomed! If you ever see me out and about, please say hello! :)

I have a strong interest in the arts (movies, museums, books, etc.), but I'm still obsessed with learning new recipes. I've made sorbets and ice creams (blood orange, red grapefruit, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, watermelon, banana, peach, cranberry, apple cider, mixed berry, pumpkin pie ice cream, key lime ice cream, etc.), quiches, macaroons, lemon-ricotta hotcakes, flageolet bean soup, and so on. Who knew that cooking could be so much fun?!? However, due to the rising cost of meat these days, I've become a flexitarian (mostly vegetarian but I won't object to eating a great meat dish once in a while).

Nonsmokers preferred for dating, and I'm unfortunately allergic to cats. (Happily not allergic to dogs, though!) I hope we can be friends no matter where we are.
