Update, late 2024 : My new partner and I am enjoying the retired life . Retired in Mexico, MOST of the time, however still have a place in Houston, as does my partner.

Update : I might have found my new partner. I will be on here only to check friends chat as I still have (chat-only) friends here.

Update : my partner of 17 1/2 years is gone. He passed away 4 Jan, 2022. I miss him everyday. I realize I need to move on. Looking for someone my age or older. I'm in the Houston area. For more info, just leave me a note. I'm very social and friendly.


Update : I recently (4 Jan 2022) lost my partner of 17 1/2 years. We were married the last 5 1/2 years of our lives together.

I primarily am looking for friends and people with whom to have coffee or a drink or lunch or dinner. There is no point going beyond that and creating a list of what you want and have because meeting someone tells you all. Just to let you know, I was married to a nice guy, but he passed away, so just looking for conversation at this point...and maybe...

So what can I tell you that would cause a coffee/drink/lunch/dinner meeting. The age, height and weight thing are already done. The pictures are current this year and of course ones, in which I look really good.

I have a dry sense of humor and some wit so coffee will mean a laugh or two.

I am not bad looking, so coffee will give you something to look at. (not moving the at)

I enjoy conversation, so coffee will give you something to listen to and to be listened to.

I am straight acting and not comfortable with gay banter "She (meaning he) is such a bitch" but at the same time I am not going to talk about the tits or cock at the next table.

I am intelligent so I can converse on a range of topics.

While I can be sarcastic (I call it wit) I can also be kind and thoughtful. At the heart of it, I am a nice guy.

I don't want to talk about my or your sexual preferences and exploits. That would be like asking for the sale before the presentation.

I used to be married (well twice actually) and have 1 son so we can talk about that. I don't really have a preference..but I prefer NOT so heavy and a little or a LOT of hairy this and that.

I am completely Out - Out in the sense that everyone knows, not Out as in over the top. Houston is such an inclusive city of any minority position and I do love living here.

I have a fascination with reality TV. It is sort of a tacky documentary style. There is something about the process of eliminating people based on some criteria that fascinates me. Whether it's voice or dance technique...it's fun to watch some of the train wrecks .

I also enjoy good movies and good books but as I get older I seem to have seen it all - been there done that. I still find life and people fascinating but have learned some valuable lessons in discernment.

One more thing, guys : I don't show or "perform" on web cam , but WILL show my face , I think most people want to know what you look like from the waist up, anyway.

NOTE: I possibly suffer from ADD, so if I venture off the chat room , even if I'm engaged in a conversation , don't take it the wrong way.. I'm gone and suddenly I'm back and you're gone, perceiving that I just ignored you . Please know it is not intentional..I have had a few guys call me choice names because of their perceptions of my behavior.. sorry about that..I leave my computer on all day and I come to it and leave away from it all the time all day.
